Medsafe EMS provides a comprehensive patient transportation service for NHS and individuals from various organizations. This service caters to all types of mobility requirements, including specialized bariatric transfers. Our ambulances are equipped with ramps and floor tracking systems to ensure safe and secure patient transfers into the vehicle, ensuring their comfort throughout the journey. Additionally, all our PTS vehicles are furnished with wheelchairs and stretcher docking capabilities.
- All of our PTS ambulances carry oxygen and can carry Entonox on board.
- All staff hold a current enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check.
- All non-emergency PTS staff are fully trained to the required First Responder standards and experienced in patient handling.
Our service is customised to suit the needs of the local area as we believe requirements differ between regions, such as hours of service, geographical area and patient groups.
We acknowledge that various patient groups may have unique needs that do not always align with the typical PTS framework. Therefore, we customize our services to accommodate specialized transportation for renal patients and provide out-of-hours discharge services to Emergency Departments.
