Our Managing Director & Training Manager, is available for ad-hoc hire to support your centre with course delivery, whether or not you are registered with Qualsafe Awards. Please see details below for the various options available.

Managing Director, Dominic, is an experienced First Responder with several years' experience of First Aid delivery under Qualsafe Awards. althrough is happy to support delivery of courses under other awarding bodies, subject to the necessary registration.

Training Manager, Darren, is an experienced SIA Door Supervisor & First Responder with several years' experience of First Aid and Security delivery, whether or not you are registered with Qualsafe Awards. Please see details below for the various options available.

Instructor Only

£300

Per day - inclusive of VAT

Standard teaching day

(up to 8 hours, inclusive of breaks)

 

Marking of all assessments that take place during the standard teaching day

 

Up to 30 minutes pre-course setup

 

Up to 30 minutes post-course administration

 

Completion of any required course paperwork in line with AO standards

 

Adherence to your applicable centre policies

 

No mention of the Medsafe EMS brand

(our instructor will identify as an 'employee' of your business and will wear generic smart clothing, or your uniform if applicable)

Instructor & Equipment

£360

Per day - inclusive of VAT

As Instructor Only, plus:

 

Supply of all training equipment listed in the course specification, including consumables

(please note that our equipment is marked 'Property of Medsafe EMS' and may feature our logo and/or contact details)

 

Laptop, projector and screen (as required)

 

Generic stationery, such as pens, note paper, flip chart paper etc.

 

Any required course textbooks (on a loan basis) for the duration of the course

(as with our equipment, these books are marked as our property and feature our logo and contact details)

Additional Hourly Rate

£35

Per hour - inclusive of VAT

 

Provision of an instructor only for additional time, such as longer days, resits and/or additional marking

 

Excludes any costs associated with use of our equipment, which will be quoted for on a case by case basis (where applicable)

 

For standalone ad-hoc bookings, a minimum charge of 2 hours applies

Travel Costs

If you are more than 30 miles from our head office (postcode is TA1 2DX),

Then the following charges apply:

  • Mileage is charged at 25p per mile, based on round trip distance, starting at mile 61. Discounts are available if free on-site EV charging can be provided.
  • We may provide overnight accommodation for our instructor, the cost of which is passed onto the customer (we do not apply any markup). Depending on our risk assessment, this may include the night before a course starts and the night that it finishes. We have accounts with Travelodge and Premier Inn and tend to use the most suitable of them as standard.
  • We also provide our instructors with an overnight allowance of £25 per night whilst away from home, which is passed onto the customer. This is to allow for the fact that eating out is far more expensive than it used to be!
