Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF)

This course serves as a fundamental stepping stone for individuals interested in pursuing a career in teaching within any vocational sector. To be eligible for this course, you must possess a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the subjects you wish to teach and be at least 19 years old.

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is a comprehensive teaching qualification that focuses on building knowledge and skills necessary for teaching or training in a broader context. It is fully accredited by Qualsafe and aligned with the National Occupational Standards. This course is particularly suitable for those who aspire to teach short, accredited courses or establish their own training academy. Upon successful completion, you will be granted the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, accredited by Qualsafe.

This course is conducted online and is divided into three units:

Unit 1: Understanding roles, responsibilities, and relationships in education and training.
Unit 2: Understanding assessment in education and training.
Unit 3: Understanding and utilizing inclusive teaching and learning approaches.

Each unit is further divided into subsections. After completing each unit, you will be required to submit them for assessment. Detailed feedback will be provided for every question. Once you have finished all three units, you will need to create a lesson plan based on your micro teach. The micro teach involves recording a live teaching session with at least one student. Additionally, you will need to submit a self-assessment form, profile action plan, declaration, and other supporting materials. Throughout the course, your assessor will provide you with comprehensive support.
